Curio adds Biggerplate Integration

So here's something cool for the Mac users out there... If you have not tried out Curio, then we recommend you head on over to Zengobi.com and download a free trial. We love this software, and it's slick, clean and flexible ways... and now there's another excellent reason to love it even more: integration with our very own mind map library at Biggerplate.com!

While Curio is not pure mind mapping software, it does have some pretty cool importing features than enable you to embed maps within the 'idea space' that you work within on your screen. Now you can jump straight from the software into the Biggerplate library, and import maps directly into your Curio work! Very cool!

Congratulations to the fantastic George Browning at Zengobi for this latest release and all the cool features it contains, and thanks for helping even more people to discover great mind map content at Biggerplate.com!

Chris Griffiths (ThinkBuzan) at Biggerplate Unplugged

First of the keynote speakers at Biggerplate Unplugged in London was Chris Griffiths, CEO of ThinkBuzan. Chris gave us a fascinating insight into the origins of the highly successful iMindMap software, and talked with great passion about building upon the extensive and far-reaching work of Tony Buzan. 

The audience listened intently as Chris outlined some of the early challenges he faced in getting support for his mind mapping software idea, and the strength of conviction that led him to start all over again in the pursuit of a more organic style of mind mapping software. Chris also read a very kind letter from Tony Buzan, which thanked the Biggerplate team for hosting such an unprecedented gathering of mappers, and encouraged attendees to remember the importance of the mapping process whilst enjoying the advances in technology enabled mapping.

#BPUN London - Reflections

It's now been a week since an amazing group of mind mapping practitioners, experts, and software developers gathered in London for the first ever Biggerplate Unplugged conference dedicated entirely to mind mapping!

As we sort through lots of photos, video, and feedback, it has given us a great sense of achievement and excitement to have played a part in bringing such a group together, and we would like to thank all those who attended and participated in the event, but also those who have supported from afar with tweets, blog posts, and anything else that helped to raise awareness of this new event series!

There's a more complete review on the way, as well as presentation materials and videos from the day... but in the meantime, here's a little video to give you a taste of what happened at #BPUN in London!
