Our good friend and Biggerplate Partner Jamie Nast recently got in touch to tell us about a great event that she is speaking at called the "Visual Thinking and Literacy Conference" which is taking place this week on March 17th in Waterford, Michigan.

Unfortunately for us, it's a little far to go at short notice, but we thoroughly recommend getting involved if you can, as there is a great line up of speakers (including Jamie) who will be discussing visual approaches to thinking and communication. Obviously mind mapping is one of the most useful tools for this, but an event like this is a great opportunity to learn what other approaches exist, and whether they can extend/compliment your use of mapping!
